Guidance
Guidance has been prepared to support the new consenting process for significant infrastructure projects in Wales. This includes advice on:
- pre-application requirements,
- how to make an application,
- how communities can get involved.

Transitional arrangements
Some projects submitted to the Welsh Ministers before 15 December 2025 will continue to be considered under the existing consenting regimes. These projects need to have met the transitional provisions set out in Section 146 of the Infrastructure (Wales) Act 2024.
