The report details the extent to which pooling several years of National Survey for Wales data in analysis is beneficial to gathering data on equalities outcomes.

The pooling of four years of National Survey data allows for increased granular analysis of some protected characteristics and associated characteristics by National Indicators.

Small sample sizes continue to be an issue even when pooling data years. This means robust granular analysis on most protected characteristics and associated characteristics, particularly for ethnicity, religion and sexual orientation, is not possible so other approaches are required as well.

Findings by specific protected and associated characteristics can be found within the full report.
