The Procurement Subgroup of the Social Partnership Council (SPC) will be meeting approximately three times a year and will be co-chaired by members of the SPC.
The meetings will normally be held in person although there will be facility for representatives to attend virtually. The Welsh Government will be taking meeting minutes and be using the transcript function for accurate minutes.
The Welsh Government will be data controller for personal data in relation to the recording and minutes of the meetings. For the purposes of the recording, we rely on our public task interest (Article 6(1)(E)) of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK-GDPR):
Attendees’ mics / cameras should be switched off as the default position throughout the meetings if attending virtually but are able to activate them at any point if invited to talk. If you choose to take part in the meetings virtually, please be aware that your likeness and voice data may appear on screen and your name will be visible. If you do not wish to appear in recordings, ensure that your video and/or microphone are turned-off in the software.
Contributors should be aware that recordings are subject to the Freedom of Information Act.
Welsh Government will ensure that recordings are stored securely and will only made available via Welsh Government networks. We will retain your personal data for the length of your appointment after which time it will be securely deleted.
Your individual rights
Under the data protection legislation, you have the right:
- to access the personal data the Welsh Government holds on you;
- to require us to rectify inaccuracies in that data
- to (in certain circumstances) object to or restrict processing
- for (in certain circumstances) your data to be ‘erased’
- to (in certain circumstances) data portability
- to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) who is our independent regulator for data protection
