Phil has incredible passion and always tries to find new ways of thinking which inspires everyone around him. The advent of the Welsh Baccalaureate was a challenge that inspired him to harness the power of a digital solution that has transformed the school’s approach to learning and teaching for all pupils.
He’s created bite sized lessons on YouTube so that teachers and pupils can learn from him anywhere, at any time. Phil has led a whole school cultural shift with a mindset that instils the notion that everyone can learn and get better at learning if they are prepared to tinker and make mistakes, and this is true of staff and children.
