5. Apprenticeship levy
The Apprenticeship Levy (on GOV.UK) is a UK-wide employment tax. It is collected monthly by HM Revenue and Customs through the PAYE system.
The Levy applies to all UK employers with an annual pay bill of £3 million or more. It is charged at 0.5% of your annual pay bill.
