Legislation
These National Minimum Standards (NMS) are being amended to reflect the inclusion of Independent Medical Agencies in the regulatory framework. These Standards will be used by Health Inspectorate Wales (HIW) when determining whether independent health care establishments are providing adequate care. The NMS are being made under Section 23 of the Care Standards Act 2000.
