In March I published a White Paper on the Taxi and Private Hire Vehicle (Wales) Bill. We received almost 150 responses to the consultation and I am grateful to everyone who responded. Today I have published a summary of the responses. On 3 Oct I will make an oral statement setting out the next steps to deliver our Programme for Government commitment to modernise the taxi and PHV sector – addressing cross-bordering and reforming licensing to make services safer, greener and fairer.
