Patagonia - Urdd Gobaith Cymru

This project links Wales and Argentina, in particular, Patagonia, where there is a Welsh speaking community. The Urdd offers places for 25 young people to attend this unforgettable trip where they act as ambassadors for Wales as they promote our language and culture among communities in Patagonia.
As part of the trip, young people give talks, host workshops and put on concerts. The project gives young people the opportunity to gain new skills through volunteering on the other side of the world.
The judges felt this project was a life changing trip for young people, and a great opportunity to learn about the heritage and culture of Patagonia.
