1. Registering as an operator
There are 3 steps to registering as a landfill site operator:
- Register your organisation and the sites that you operate in Wales with the Welsh Revenue Authority (WRA).
- Sign up to WRA online services so that you can file your Landfill Disposals Tax returns online.
- Submit any applications that you require for weighing methods, water discounts, site restoration relief and non-disposal areas to the WRA before you begin operating them.
You must complete registration before you're allowed to operate as a landfill site operator in Wales.
