The report sets out the summary and recommendations of the process, impact and economic evaluation of the Communities for Work (CfW) and Communities for Work Plus Programmes (CfW+), since their inception in 2015 and 2018 respectively up until April 2023.
This is the latest release in the series: Evaluation of Communities for Work and Communities for Work Plus from 2015 and 2018 respectively to March 2023
The evaluation has been delivered over two phases between September 2021 and January 2024.
The first report was published in March 2023. The first report was an update to the previous process evaluation and theory of change of CfW (2016 to 2018), incorporating both CfW and CfW+ programmes. It also included a review of progress against targets.
The final series of reports published in January 2024 includes reports on the Participant Characteristics and Experiences, Programme Performance and Value for Money and a Counterfactual Impact Evaluation.
This also includes an overall summary and recommendations report which draws on all four reports.
