The following chapter sets out the main findings from the deliberative stakeholder workshop. It summarises the issues discussed and suggestions made by workshop participants, outlined in 3 sections as follows.
Section 1 describes what Independent Living should look like in practice. This includes views on how a common understanding could be developed and communicated more widely. The barriers to achieving Independent Living are also discussed.
Section 2 summarises potential activities of an NCFIL. It explores how these activities might support Independent Living and how it could work with what is already being done.
Section 3 sets out practical issues that should be considered for the design and delivery of a successful NCFIL.
