Publication update
We will publish Children Receiving Care and Support Census data in summer 2026. This will include data for 2024 and year ending 31 March 2025.
This will be a combined release of new data with commentary for the first two years following the removal of the three-month snapshot for children with a care and support plan on 31 March. From April 2023, the census is a full-year collection for all children with a care and support plan at any point during the year.
