This consultation considers the third revision of the Active Travel Act Guidance to be published in 2026 (ATAG 2026).
Consultation description
The revision strengthens accessibility and inclusion, consolidates new evidence and professional practice, and resolves inconsistencies in the 2021 edition.
It remains the core technical guidance for planning, prioritising, designing and delivering walking, wheeling and cycling infrastructure under the Active Travel (Wales) Act 2013.
